　천지에서 으뜸가는 보배, 의로움
　3천지간에 의로움보다 더 크고 중한 것은 없느니라.
　
　4하늘이 하지 못할 바가 없지마는 오직 의로운 사람에게만은 못 하는 바가 있느니라.
　
　5사람이 의로운 말을 하고 의로운 행동을 하면 천지도 감동하느니라.
　
　6그러므로 나는 천지의 모든 보배를 가지지 않은 것이 없으나 의로움을 가장 으뜸가는 보배로 삼느니라.
　
　7나는 추상 같은 절개와 태양같이 뜨거운 충의(忠義)를 사랑하노라. (道典4:15)
　
　Righteousness, the Most Valued Treasure
　“3 In all of heaven and earth, nothing is more noble or precious than righteousness. 4There is nothing beyond heaven’s power, yet heaven cannot act against the righteous. 5Righteousness in speech and action inspires even heaven and earth themselves. 6I,who possess all the treasures of heaven and earth, prize righteousness above all else. 7I love steadfastness that is unyielding as autumn frost and loyalty that blazes like the sun.” (Sangjenim, English Dojeon 4:13)
